Yo! It has been freaking freaking long since i updated cuz basically too lazy to :p
wanna quit blogger le but duwanna forget all that has happened! :D 1 year on i shall look back to this post and go hmmm...
ok this last... 4 weeks has been pretty eventful and meaningful.

Around more feb i guess? started training for FDS. Looking back now it seems real amateur of us to complete 1 ripple line with just raising our hands and go wow~~
Now we've completed the whole routine and taken part in both competition already.
First for our sea district comp. and overall 5th in the nationwide comp.
That's 5th out of the 140++ NCC units there are in Singapore including TK's very own land unit :X
Heard they were not even in the top5 ya :X
Anyways and amazing performance I'll say especially seeing that none of us had attended and prior course about drills and manage to choreograph and plan our own steps. Good job to all the 13 of us for doing what we all thought was impossible. It seemed like yesterday we practised behind the tech. block with that puny ripple line which we were so amazed by. Now we have a whole routine ready at hand to perform at any time just for entertainment. We came a long way from what we were, and despite how we joke around almost all the time, it now seems a miracle how we managed to finish the whole routine now.

These memories of FSD will always be with us i guess; how we had to memorise all those steps, "HAKJIN!!", how alvis "zao xia" and screws up at times, the makarina!, the face-off and ashiq's parang thing xD epic fun times man! especially the one where jowie started punishing us by singing.. all those days at magic wok lunch which made me so darn sick of it now...

During camp saw alotta couples, zhong se qing you really came into play for quite a while amongst everyone nowadays.
I dont think i have to right to complain anyways cause well, i had my fun? ><
I think i'll just let things come naturally? hehz.

whether you'll read this i don't know but wanna thank all the TK SEA guys for making my camp somewad freaking awesome though there were things which clearly dampened the mood. Anyways it was fun don't you think? (:

hmms apart from that... Ytd's mood after we performed for the finals was clearly saddening. Went canteen and everyone was like emoing lying there. Maybe it was the fatigue or the rain which really stretched us but when they announced the bottom 5 and there was no mention of us i knew everyone's heart was lightened as fuhua sec and siglap was announced. When it was down to the names of the top 5, there was a glimmer of hope for everyone that we may be in the top 3 at least but we ended up 5th. It was a good effort i'd say and the schools which we lost to i can gladly say they deserved to win us. It wasn't anyone's fault in particular and i don't think we should blame each other because of getting 5th. Even if anyone made a mistake, either in the performance or GSK, it was a mistake anyone of us could've made under such circumstances. We should not blame each other as i know every single one of us gave our best for the performance in the end and that's what i think matters the most. Before the competition i expected us to get top 3, after we performed top 10, and since we manage to get 5th i think it was a good gauge at where we stand and that our juniors should strive to improve from there.

Success isn't measured in extent of your victory, but the steps taken towards achieving it.
Although we did not win the first place, the memories and hard work we have and put in is something no one else can win.
All the times we practised and bonded, although we did not win the FDS title, we won something else which was harder to get, something i would rather win and cherish.
